Polypropylene is a lightweight thermoplastic resin that has strong chemical resistance, dimensional stability, and excellent surface rigidity. The versatility of polypropylene makes it a cost effective alternative to more expensive fluoropolymer tubing and other resins. Polypropylene is lightweight enough to float but also has a high heat tolerance (over 212F). Our polypropylene tubing solutions are available in translucent, many different colors, and can also be manufactured using FDA grades materials. Polypropylene with the addition of UV stabilizers can also be used in outdoor applications.
